![]() The saddle was probably fifteen years old and I'm not even certain of the model. My Passier dressage saddle was recently stolen and as of yet I haven't found the serial number in my records. We place a high level of confidence in our dealers because they ensure that qualified, personal advice is provided and this is particularly important with our saddles. Passier products are sold by our carefully selected dealers. Since Passiers can be adjusted, the serial # marking may or may not reflect the saddle's current width. ![]() Every time I've emailed Passier a saddle serial number, they offer a tree number in cms and an approximation of how wide that is (m, me, w, etc). I have the serial number and it is also stamped with 17 1/2 and a D. I have a Passier dressage saddle and wondered if there is any way of finding out what width it is. It's still in wonderful condition and sits on a saddle rack in my mom's bedroom. Note small cuts under flap/near billets in photos - not positive, but tree may have been widened by previous owner? I'd say it fits like a generous medium.I love my 2007 barrel saddle, but you can't beat a squishy old seat! I guess I have a 1952 Hess & Hopkins as well, but it is 'retired.' We will use it once in a great while, but it was my great-grandfather's saddle and my mom doesn't want it to get too torn up. I'm a fan of Passier because the PS Baum tree fits almost every horse! This saddle was manufactured as a 27.5 cm (medium tree) but fit more like a MW on my horses. New horse is getting more into jumping, so selling this since I bought a Passier close contact. Fitter recommended that or using half pad, which is what I did since I mainly ride in a dressage saddle. ![]() The saddle was built in March 1975." I had a Passier saddle fitter check this in 2016 for a new horse - tree is solid, but could use new flocking. Oldie but goodie - price reflects age but these saddles last forever! From my inquiry to Passier when I purchased this in 2014: "The saddle with the serial number 160 696 is a PSP Allp.saddle "VS" (direction of jumping), size 18", havana-brown, medium tree of 27,5 cm, 2 dee rings, NO gusseted panel. ![]() Billets are amazing, small cracks in seat (veins, not gaps), normal wear on seat and flaps, and some age on underside, visible in pics. Offering a Passier AP saddle with jumping tendency in good used condition for its age. ![]() Item: 273166917632 18" Passier All-Purpose PS Baum saddle, PSP-GR-II, VS (jumping type), M-MW tree. ![]()
